Well done on your progress and let it continue!
You mentioned in your post that you'll never ever trust her. Remember she's had 3 different homes she's now in her 4th home, she's had a lot of upheaval. For her to let you pick her up is a positive sign that she's starting to trust you and you need to learn to trust her.
This is a big progress from Cinders.
Make sure you talk to her and praise her all the time, this will give heart more confidence.
