Ingredients:- 1 Tortilla
- Smooth Peanut Butter
- Low Fat Cheddar Cheese
- Carrot
- Sweet Pepper
That is it!
The carrot and sweet pepper can be changed to a different vegetable, if your hamster has a favorite you can throw that on instead! The recipe is very adjustable and can be changed to better suit your hamsters needs.
Step 1:
Use a small cup like a sauce bowl or a shot glass, firmly press down on the tortilla wrap with the cup and use a knife to cut out little circles.
Step 2:
Spread a very thin layer of peanut butter on to the tortilla, scrape as much off as you can. You don’t want the peanut butter getting stuck in your little hams cheeks if he or she decides to stuff them with pizza for later.
Step 3:
Sprinkle a thin layer of grated cheese on top. Microwave for 5 seconds, do this about 3 times or until all the cheese on top is melted.
Step 4:
Chop up the carrot and pepper into small pieces, push them into the cheese so they stick to the pizza. Leave it out to cool at room temperature for 10-15mins.
Done! Just place it in the cage for your hamster to discover!
