thanks guys! its nice to know that I am doing the right thing. I did have to take her to the vets after she jumped out of my hand the first time I held her, which means we have gone backwards slightly in taming. She was moving slower than usual and the vet prescribed her with Carprofen which she needs to have for a week. she is doing much better now, and I can safely hold her without her jumping out of my hands! I do not pick her straight up from the cage as she doesn't like that, instead I use her mug to pick her up. Thanks for the replies!
