after deciding that my hamster should have more room to run around and burrow, i am determined to give her a bigger upgrade.
i've seen a lot of ikea hacks that look very appealing and roomy and generally like they would make a good permenent home for my hammy. but, they do require quite a lot of money to buy and add things like plexiglass to, which i can only find locally for around £20 for a small sheet. so, would making a bin cage be better than saving up for a expensive ikea unit?
as well as this, is the detolf good value and would the upkeep cost a lot more?
