I`ve always like this cage due to it`s full shelves and no dangerous drops. It`s a decent size and allows for plenty of excersize. It has solid ramps too.
Purdy Bear, this cage is suitable for mice, even baby mice as the bar spacing is very narrow.I used to keep mice.
The wooden shelving may require Plastikote though or covering with cardboard or similar to prevent urine soak. Especially with mice as they tend to pee and poo all over their cage!
Nice revue and even if the shelves were to be replaced, that could easily be done by removing one and taking it to a hardware/DIY place and have fresh plywood shelving cut to the same size. Or you could make shelves from spare cages and cover them if they are barred shelves. x
