I know I'm a newbie when it comes to hamsters but having two of them has helped me more than I could have imagined.
Timon is an energetic tiny thing whose favourite game seems to be climbing all over me and making me bend in weird positions just to keep him from slipping and escaping. He uses me as a ladder to get over the walls of his playpen

Getting Timon seems to have helped Bilbo trust me more because now he is hidding less and climbing over me more. I guess Timon's scent has something to do with it. Atleast he is a little less nervous and much more active and playful now. Timon is also the active and happy image of the hamster image in my head. Getting him has sort of helped me understand Bilbo abit better.
Bill eats on my hand sometimes but Tim pouches EVERYTHING and waits to drop them in his nest.
All in all I love my new children very much
