Hi guys,
I have a lil prob with one of my syrians, we recently brought her a ferplast duno multy (i think thats what its called from memory) anyways there is a small hole so we can put the bottle nob through in to the cage, she first took to biting this which made a racket but i didnt mind too much anyways she then moved on to biting the plastic around the hole which then began to get so bad i could see light coming through...
So i took away the bottle and gave her a bowl with stones in. attempted to cover the hole and chewed spot with a mineral stone... she pulled this straight off! So then i swapped her cage round so that the wooden house/fort she lives in blocks the hole... HOWEVER she has now taken to filling her water bowl up with shavings which soak up all the water and i dont want to leave her without any....
Any ideas?? i would like to go back to the bottle but im worried if she eats too much of the cage firstly this is not good for her and secondly she might escape!!
