Hi, I'm new here and I have one white winter Russian dwarf hamster called Walter I have had him since June 2014 and he is very healthy

I am deciding to make him some toys out of toilet paper rolls and I am wondering if it is safe for them to have toilet paper and also what toys I can make from the toilet roll ( I have already made a few toys for him: a cracker and a circular thing that has treats inside). Please let me know if you have any ideas of what I should make and if it is dangerous please tell me. Thanks
