Default Alternative hamster Chews and Cher's nibbling

When Cher was out of the cage the other day I noticed she had started really chewing on the buttons of our tv remote. She's done it with other soft rubbery objects too. She seems to really like them. It struck me as odd because she never uses her wooden chews. She completely ignores them. It seems the only things she enjoys chewing on are squishy substances including fingers and toes.I was wondering if there are any "softer" chews? I assumed rubber isn't hamster safe so I have been trying to get her to stop.

She also has become a bit of a biter. It doesn't seem malicious but I don't think it's because she smells food either because we wash our hands before and after handling her. I've been trying out blowing on her when she bites. She's otherwise pretty friendly and happy to be handled as far as I can tell.
