Thanks for the replies.
I have found out that she needs a companion and I have phoned Honeybunnies who said they will help me. They will take her away for a couple of days and introduce her to a 'friend'. She will choose who she likes and she will be well cared for and watched by professional guineapig staff. This wont happen for about another month as I am letting her settle in first. . Unlike hammies, piggies do need the company. I was told they have a very wide vocal range and need another piggy to chat to. I read somewherethat two can take the space of one, so no extra space needs to be sorted. I am going to buy a C&C cage set up and expand it as and when I can afford it.
