Good for you! It's amazing how brave you can be when you are worried about a new hammy, right? If this should happen again you can wrap her in a dishcloth, with just her head sticking out, so she can't struggle so much. It makes the process go faster so she doesn't have to stress as much. And, yes, treats have magical properties, they bring forgetfulness.
