Hi guys,
So, my dad and I are building a shelf in my room for books and such. We are going to make it out of pine, as it is cheep and easy to work with. I am worried though, because hamsters can not have pine shaving because of their respiratory systems, will the shelf be harmful? Or is it just the dust to stay away from? My hamster will be moved out of my room while the shelf is being built, as all the sawdust flying everywhere can't be good, but after that, is it safe?
Now, I realize how stupid this post will sound if there truly is nothing to worry about, but I would rather be safe than sorry!
