Sometimes very tiny hammies struggle a bit with the large size seeds in regular mix. We supplement with budgie seed, millet sprays, linseed, omega mix and chopped nuts from the bakery section in the supermarket. There are lots of little things you can give them. They do not eat an awful lot at this age though.
Robos are wonderful to watch and you may like to consider something like a perfecto tank or look on freecycle for an aquarium you could kit out. They can be harder to clean but hopefully your OH will help out there.
