Wal-Mart sells any bait traps. They have clear liquid bait and you open a small bit of it and they take the food back to their nest and die. It works very well! No toxicity smell like the spray, but make sure pets can't get to it. Just open it and lay it where you think they are coming in, or in a path you know they'll cross.
