Default Re: ...almost definitely pregnant.

Thank you all.

Amy, I will definitely take you up on that. At least I know I have your experience and good breeding behind her!

BrainGirl, I will keep an eye on it, it was the first thought that I had...if she doesn't have them in the next few days it will be so much worse from a human perspective because even after I sounded them out, it means they will have gone into our room and got them out even after I told them in no uncertain terms that that would be it...I didn't see them last night so no chance to talk about it, I don't want to do it by text so will have to wait.

I moved Molly into the new cage last night before thinking about the fact that it was sixteen days since 'the incident' (can it really be that long?!) Anyway no babies tonight and she ripped up everything in her cage. Gave her some porridge and baby food, as well as a millet spray and a tiny bit of chicken last night - only the chicken and porridge are gone, so she obviously knows what she likes!

She's ripped up everything in the cage, knocked over the wheel and is nesting underneath that at the moment...I have given her a cardboard box, but unfortunately all of my nests are those wooden barky ones and I don't want to damage the babies. I suppose I could move the wheel out now, but I will wait and see if she comes out and spends the day not with potential babies (or, you know, evening).

I can't hear or see anything today and she didn't come out when I gave her more porridge, so....we will see.

Flatmate No 1 - the non-offensive one - has just come out and I asked him if he knows anything and he said no. He's not the type to be dishonest, that's the other one - so we will see.

Anyway, only thing I can do now is wait to see what happens.
