Well, after having only the "russian" type (most likely hybrids) as a double figured child + and then, moving onto Syrians as an adult, I have to say, I prefer Syrians. I find they are (usually) more willing to be social with the human. Although, that being said I did have some really sweet Russians that were more than happy for human contact. But, still Syrians would have to get my vote. I am currently wondering myself whether to go back to owning one of the dwarf species, but, my heart still lies with Syrians, and I know if I went into a pet store and there was another Syrian ham that stole my heart, I'd have to bring him home. However I still have my reservations about the dwarfs despite having seen some REALLY lovely ones that I fell in love with.

I prefer how they're bigger in your hand. Dwarfs are so tiny and often skittish. but they are very very cute ^_^
