Great ideas! Never thought to connect the tubes to make a bridge.
I bought the wilko treats (2 for £1) last week and the apple 1 has gone down well so far. I snapped one of the 'ears' off it to try it out before putting the whole thing in. Maybe you could try to cut them both in half down the middle and give half to each? That way pumpkin and scrubby get to have both.
