Bit more information on the weird noise he was making yesterday...

I've been in Berlin for the last week, and when I got back from work last night, I decided that I should definitely clean out Pippin's cage. He was NOT impressed, but was fairly happy trundling around in his ball for ten minutes or so. When I was done, I put him on my bed with his ball for safety, opened it and let him run around for a while.

fter ten minutes of exploration, he suddenly started making the noise. He did this when we first picked him up from Pets at Home, the first time I had ever heard a hamster make a noise of any description, and I thought it was an alarm cry. Fair enough, it can't have been VERY fun...but I have no idea why he did it last night.
