A great solution for any spare sprays would be to lay a few over a bush in the garden and the sparrows will devour it.
The sparrows need feeding at this time of year so go for it! I do this and I also buy loose millet for my feeder. You can pay it over some branches or on top of a hedge or even on the ground, but try and put them where the sparrows can quickly dash into a hedge from any sparrow hawks or cats if they are in the open. x
