It took Othello about a week to adjust to his new digs. When I clean him, I mostly clear his food stores, his potty spots and some of his bedding. I really only like to replace all the bedding once a month or so. My suggestion is leave about half of the bedding in place and when you add more, mix well, so that his smells are still there.
