I reccomend soaking food in water for around 5-6 minutes and them using a spoon to mash it up for your hammie. My hamster Pip is 4 now and struggling to eat so that's what I do and she loves it
but I only use the nugget type food (the brown and green bits in Harry Hamster) and mash up carrots and cut romain lettuce smaller for Pip
