I'd say I've spent no more than about £40 on her wheel and other toys over the past few months; not too bad, it was a bit ridiculous that she had three different cages at one point though
I actually really want a glass tank for her and would splash out on one if it wasn't for the fact that it'd be way to heavy for me to lift from the shelf she lives on (space is at a premium at t'mo).
Chinese Alan has the Gabber that was originally bought for Ness, and I got him a Silent Spinner, hanging ladder toy and 60 piece Puzzle Playground, plus stocked up on food, for about £20 the other week, want to get him some chinchilla sand to bathe in next, it never ends...
I have a ridiculous amount of food dishes and water bottles of various sizes so rarely need to buy those. Bedding and food costs are minimal, I just stock up on Harry Hamster when I can and a sack of Megazorb lasts weeks.
Haven't needed to take either to the vets yet.
Now if I were to think of how much these rats have cost me...
