I recently bought a nest thing for my dwarf hamsters and they love the soft bedding that came with it, but after reading this I took it out immediately. It was very fiberous and stringy and it probably would have been very bad if they ingested some of it. Good thing you posted this! It's awesome that your ham recovered too!
