They are only staying together because they do not know any different for now because they are clearly very young. As soon as they start to get their hormones in and begin to grow up they will fight and this could cause a disaster especially as the syrian will be much larger.
You must get a bin or something or maybe even return one to the store because you were given two species thinking you could keep them together when you could not. If you cannot accommodate two separate the it would best to return one or rehome one where it will be safe.
