Poppy and Lola were sisters that were 12-15 weeks old when I got them from the shop where I work they sqaubbled a little bit at first in a new cage but it never got serious and they cuddled up together. When I got home from work last night i picked up the food bowl in the cage to feed them and noticed something on the floor of the cage, it was my sweet little Lola, dead
Poppy had killed her. Lola was the sweet one and loved to be handled where Poppy is a bit stand off ish and growls if I put my hand in but was fine when I first got her. I have now decided to take Poppy back to the shop, I know it's horrible but I just can't stand knowing that she killed lovely Lola and still keep her as a pet. I know it's nothing to do with dwarves whatsoever, but I now think I shall stick to syrians for a while longer.
Rest in peace Lola I'm sorry you reached this sad fate.
