Long time no updates!

Lucy is now two and a half years old(!) and is getting more and more active. Or as we like to joke, a tad senile, hehe. She's a sweetie, super friendly and social. I think she's mostly blind and has some trouble with orienting herself toward where she thinks my voice comes from. I basically have to poke her to stop her from what she's doing to get her to come to me. But just looking at her, you would have no idea she is that old! Except that she's skinny and looks hunched over. But that's about it... She's as active as a baby!

Here's a video from yesterday, to show how active she can be

(all available in HD)

And here's another from a bit ago, after she was out for half an hour. This is how she gets me to come to her home and begs to come out endlessly. It's very distracting, and I try my best to not reinforce such behavior. For example, I gave her that flying saucer wheel you see in the first video yesterday, trying to get her mind off getting out. Then I had to take out her normal wooden house on the left platform, as she would climb onto it and then climb onto the mesh and hang off it, chewing at it. I took out the house and gave her a section of OVO tubes. She grows more creative every day at being a needy ham

(hear that tongue? yeah, very distracting )
