I'm so sorry to hear this.
I found out my Hamster had that on Friday. She didn't pull through, but that was because she'd always been a bit smaller, and ended up being severely underweight and dehydrated.
Cheeto seems like a strong hamster, and your vet sounds like he knows what he's doing, so I'm sure she'll pull through.
When I gave mine the meds, I would dip the end in some apple juice or just stab the syringe in an apple. She would smell it and nibble the end.
