Ick.. its nasty! The bugs don’t freak me out.. I use to run around and catch them all the time when I was a kid. But seeing a bunch of little weevils swarming in my pet’s food is a little unnerving! I called the PetsMart where I bought it from to let them know. That way they could check a bag to see if there are any they currently have that are infested.
I told them I didn’t have the receipt anymore but they said I should just save the weevil-infested bag and bring it in and get my money back or something.
Now.. the bag the food is in doesn’t have a number to call, the only number available is the one to the people who manufacture the bags they come in! But there is a website for
www.hartz.com all over it but their calling hours are Monday through Friday, so ill have to call tomorrow.
I’m not sure they are apart of the LM animals farms company, or if they just distribute their products, but ill just have to call them and see who I can talk to about this.
