I have Patches, a 1 year old female Syrian Hammy. She's in my signature, but this picture is better. The hammy used as my Avatar is Sandy Bear, my first hammy. She was the best. She had 2 litters, one where she had 16 babies who all lived and were homed well, and a litter of 3, one of which went to a teriffic home and I kept the other two; Chip & Dale. Sandy, Chip & Dale have all passed. This Spring I want to get 2 more Syrians and a pair of dwarf hammies, all from a rescue in my area. Oh, btw, the other fellow in my signature is Yoda, a rescued 4 year old Chihuahua, whom I love dearly and who loves hamsters.
