That toothbrush is a good idea =3 Try not to be disheartened Char. Every ham is different, but Diasy will come round eventually.

Aside from all the suggestions already put in, I'd recommend setting up a hot water bottle or a pocket hand warmer and put a towel over it, then let Daisy run on that, the warm may calm her down, also, while a wide open space is good, it's less fun if there's nothing to do but run around! If you continue to put her in the bath, put some toys in there as well.

It might be best though to let her simmer for a little while in her cage. She may be more territorial when in it but hopefully with the combination of a natural, consistent smell from you (using the same soap all the time for example) she may get used to you and not see you as a threat. Another trick is to make your hands smell of her bedding by rummaging in it with your fingers, that way she'll sniff you and think you're a part of her home rather than an intruder. =3

For now I recommend not picking her up at all. I learned this trick fast with Timi; he's not at all fond of being scooped, so I had to find a workaround to make him more comfortable with being handled. We got there in the end, but being handled is very stressful for them at first. Just don't be put off, stay calm and upbeat (because your emotions will rub off on her) and take your time. ^^
