I have a Perfecto Small Animal Habitat - 36" x 12" x 15" (91cm x 30cm x38cm) that i currently use for my gerbils but i've got a friend that's offered me the exact same one. Before i get it off her i was wondering if they are suitable for hamsters?
I'm not sure on which type of hamster I'd like yet but I'm drawn towards having 1 Syrian.

I've never own a hamster before though i've been planning to for just over a year but the right time hasn't come yet.
Any advice on making this hamster friendly would be great
