Default Re: Chinese Dwarf - Few questions

I prefer to take a more proactive approach with taming as I didn't get very far with letting my first Chinese 'come to me.' I do little and often, and use this approach if I have a flighty ham or one I might want to put down in a hurry. I encourage them to either wake up earlier or get used to being woken, by waking them in the evenings to handle them (making sure they are fully awake before handling them, unless they are my old smooshy boys who let me do anything, bless them). My Chinese prefer to have treats in their cage and rarely will take them outside the cage like a Syrian. I find Chinese love to snuggle in clothing- sleeves (though they will run up them!), pockets and in the crook of your arm. My hams enjoy exploring the folds of my fluffy dressing down in a morning when I'm sat down with a cuppa!
