Default Re: Feeding schedules

My hamsters get a fresh bowl of food every 2-3 days as I have found this has reduced selective feeding and keeps the hams in good conditions. Babies/mums/those in need of feeding up get extras every few days in addition, e.g. Baby food, porridge, chicken. Everyone gets extras after a show (once to twice a month). At clean out they get treats scattered in the cage to forage, usually dog biscuits, dried herbs and something else depending on what I have at the time. If someone's on medications then they get baby food daily with their meds.

My Syrian Basil gets choc drops or toast a few times a week when he's looking sorrowfully at me. My other Syrian has had these cut out as she's getting too chunky.

I like to keep feeling schedules simple
