I think adoption is such a good thing
That's how I got my 5 lovely ladies! I'd only go with 2 hams if you get them from somebody who has interacted with them daily, such as a shelter or a breeder, who knows that they get along and don't threaten each other. Otherwise, one ham will be perfectly fine. Gemma lived alone (her cagemate Jewel went back to the store, after she bullied Gem), and Gem became like one of the humans LOL and was totally happy!
on a side note... I never know if someone is male or female..I guess you know I'm a female by my name, and I've found that most people on here are females! Maybe we could have something on our profile for gender, just in case of question lol
