Iv got a russian Hybrid and she is absaloutly lovely she has never bitten ever and she will just sit in my hand she is a bit of a scaredy cat and doesn't like to be far from her cage but she is a lovely little girl
iv also got my syrian he's also amazing , I'd say he's more hyper than her as he is a little daredevil when he's out he trys to throw himself of everything and anything where as she will just run about on me and won't go far....I think everyone is right in saying its down to the individual hamster so you could get a nippy dwarf you could get a cuddly dwarf same as a syrian. I asked to handle Sanibel in p@h and I did so for a fair bit of time and she just cuddled into my hand and gave me the ocasional lick so I knew she probably wasn't a biter
