Well thats what I said to our vet so he agreed that the hamster would not likely get enough so then he diluted it to the right strength and we had to give .05ml into the cheek once a day. It least we knew he had the meds then. You could give them a call and say you think he is not drinking much and could they advise how to ensure he got enough. Some do not like the taste so will not drink the water with it in
