This happened to us also....although we had some warning and we were prepared for the birth. Our babies are now 11 days old and just starting to come out of nest...not even sure how many there are as all i have done is change the food and water and not gone near them at all. I was going to ask when they could be handled and the cage cleaned cos its really starting to pong now after a fortnight! So now i know that i was wondering will the babies be eating solid food now and what are some examples of good things to give them. I've been giving mam the things mentioned above along with fresh fruit, veg and her normal muesli and peanuts (which are her faves!).
