Yeah they are very special. Sea horses do great as long as the water chemistry is right. I have a lot of living rock in the angel tank, its great what has seeded on them; tiny anemones etc. The horses have a little living rock, but mostly its living sand in their tank.
Havent perfected raising seahorse fry just yet, they get to about a month old and then they croak. Still, the male keeps popping them out, regular as clockwork
