Hold the pink shelf in the corner, and just put the screws in. I have to get my other half to help me as I'm not tall enough to reach the back of the cage and hold the shelf in at the same time when its on the desk. There are little yellow parts in the pink shelf which the green screws screw into which you can move about to get them into the right position.
