Re: whooo! new tattoo tomorrow :)
I am too much of a wuss to get a tattoo myself. Something about having a needle puncture the same patch of skin over and over again for an hour and then dealing with pain similar to a bad sunburn for a week or so on said patch of skin is not appealing to me. Then there is the peeling and whatnot.
Did I mention my skin, which is as pale as a ghost, welts at the slightest scrape? Yup. I won't be under the needle anytime soon.
My mom has an absolutely lovely tattoo of a pair of bluebirds flying against a background of a spray of dogwood blossoms. Something about her parents and their deaths motivated her to get it I guess.
