Although Dwarf Hamsters can suffer from extreme diarrhoea they do not suffer from Wet Tail. They are often mistaken for having wet tail, even by vets, but it is not the infectious wet tail. Though treatment for extreme diarrhoea and wet tail are the same. I'm sorry to hear you lost your hamster this way x
