That looks as it it would work to me.
At such a depth how would you propose to clean it SS? Would you have the front glass panel sliding out? Glass this size would be quite heavy. Maybe clear perspex on the back so you could put a ventilation section in? The space size seems fine to me as there is plenty length there.
