I know some HC members keep cats and hamsters in their homes. Recently I have gotten my own office with a door that latches well to keep the hamster cages in safely. So since my OH is really a cat person and has wanted one since before we got together I took him to our local animal shelter to meet the kitties
When we were there I fell in love with all of them (it's kinda what I do with furry animals
) But he really took to a 6 month old female with medium length tortoiseshell colored fur. She seems really frisky and affectionate. Her name's Mira.
We filled out an application to adopt her, we will hear back in 1-7 days...Hopefully we get approved!!! I'm so excited about her
