Default Re: Can hamsters eat red sweet peppers?

They are also known as `bell` peppers. Not to be confused with chilli peppers or your hamster could be in serious trouble. The green ones probably have the least taste. They can taste a little hot on the tongue so I would offer a very small piece (about 5mm in size) only. Fresh veg should only be fed in moderation and spead out between two or three days to allow for any interaction of the gut incase the hamster has reaction to it.
