I'm not getting into this, just FYI, because if I start I won't stop and you DO NOT want to know what I have to say to this.

There are breeders in your area, I know there is a hamstery in Missouri called Sweet Cheeks Hamstery. I don't know much about them but they are better then a pet store IMO. It's a little ways for you but if you aren't willing to travel that for GOOD hamsters than do not breed...just don't.
