Breeding is a big responsibility. As my mother always told me (she's a cat breeder though) you are now solely responsible for bringing life into the world for a litter of babies. Everything that happens to them comes directly back to you which is why people are so strict on breeding with pedigrees and proper care and planning.
I'll be breeding my first litter hopefully in the Spring (working closely with Yaz.
) and I've got a whole lot of info in my head now about genetics. Yaz is better at the care side of things whereas I'm better with the genetics.
It works out well. Coming on here to ask for advice shows that you do care though so I think that says something at least.
It's just things don't read well on the internet.
Hope the mum and potential babies are okay though!!!
