LOL! Thats one way of finding out! Would be cool to see some photos of them but I know its an hour away!
It drives me nuts how some people in these stores are SO clueless regarding the care of the animals while in the store. We all know how hamsters are badly mislabeled but to allow two species together in the same cage, to the point where one has cuts on his head - just makes me so mad.
It comes back to the conversation we had earlier on HC about "who" should be allowed to sell pets (other than genuine breeders of course). I think some sort of licensing should be in place for anyone wishing to work in the pet trade, having to go through at least some sort of training on how to care for the animals they sell.
Well, I know you'd "rescue" these little guys if you could! LOL. I know - theres many times I just wish I could bring home pets that need to be in a better environment!
