Maybe your ham is just acting a bit strange becasue something was changed in his daily/nightly routine while you were away, like for example he didnt get to come out and play or something. Animals do have a sence to know when something is wrong with us so maybe thats the reason
But if you think something might be wrong just keep an eye on the little fuzz ball
