I adopted a new little fella today, the store I purchase hamster supplies at doesn't usually have adoptions, but there was a sign posted saying that they had a dwarf hamster for adoption. I inquired, and they showed me this little boy
Of course I fell in love instantly! I'm not sure what type of dwarf he is, he's pure white over most of his body, with a bit of gray on his face and dorsal stripe. He also has the silkiest fur I have ever felt!

The cage he came with is pitiful. Much too small! But it was his cage from the previous owner and since he's used to it I guess I'll let him stay in it for at least one night while he gets accustomed to his new surroundings.
If any one knows what type of hamster he is I would love to know!
Also, I haven't picked a name yet, but I'm considering Simon. Any suggestions? I also haven't told my OH yet...and he may not be thrilled with me...
But I'm thinking I probably wont get kicked out...probably....
