I know people use these when hand rearing hamster pups to keep them nice and warm. Olso I've read on other forums that in few cases they use these under hamster cages in Canada during winter, especially for older hamsters. Also for waking hibernating hamsters (I used it once for this purpose for my ww - she was 3 at this stage and our heating broke during the night - I found her hibernating and it helped. she past away 4 weeks later of natural causes.

BTW, you have to keep monitoring the temperature of this as you do not want them to over heat.

Why would you be needing it now with the warm weather, thou?
